Terms of Service

StayReel Effective Date: March 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the StayReel mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and StayReel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

StayReel is a mobile application that allows users to:

Connect an Instagram account using a session token they provide directly
Capture a snapshot of their follower and following lists (limited to once every 24 hours)
View follower changes over time, including new followers, lost followers, mutual follows, weekly summaries, and growth trends

StayReel is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

3. Beta Disclaimer

StayReel is currently in beta. The App is provided as-is and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice. We make no guarantee that the App will continue to operate in its current form or that any particular feature will remain available.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StayReel. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your StayReel account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at mahranandrew@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Instagram Session Token

When you connect your Instagram account, you provide a session token directly. You are solely responsible for obtaining and providing this token. We store it encrypted and use it only to retrieve your follower and following lists on your behalf.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to use this token and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

7. User Responsibilities

By using StayReel, you agree:

To use the App only for lawful purposes
Not to use the App in any way that violates Instagram’s or Meta’s Terms of Service
Not to attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the App
Not to use the App to harass, stalk, or monitor others without their consent
To take sole responsibility for any consequences resulting from your use of the App, including any action taken by Instagram against your account

8. Instagram Independence and Disclaimer

StayReel is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram® is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of Instagram’s services through StayReel remains fully subject to Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

We do not guarantee that the App will continue to be compatible with Instagram’s platform. Instagram may change its platform at any time, which may cause StayReel to malfunction or become inoperable. We are not liable for any interruption or loss of service resulting from Instagram’s platform changes.

9. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Follower counts, change metrics, and other data displayed in StayReel are derived from snapshots taken at specific points in time. Due to the nature of Instagram’s platform, these figures may not be perfectly accurate or real-time. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed in the App.

10. No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Service

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, free of errors, or uninterrupted. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, technical issues, or any other reason.

11. Subscriptions and Purchases

StayReel currently offers optional paid purchases, which may include auto-renewing subscriptions and non-consumable lifetime access.

By purchasing a subscription or other paid product through StayReel, you agree that:

Pricing, billing periods, trial terms, and product details will be disclosed to you before purchase
Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by StayReel
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store account settings before the renewal date
You are responsible for managing or cancelling your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable
Refunds, billing disputes, and payment issues are governed by the policies of the app store through which you made the purchase, except where otherwise required by applicable law
Access to paid features may be suspended, changed, or discontinued if your subscription expires, is cancelled, is refunded, or is otherwise revoked by the platform or payment provider

12. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in the App are owned by or licensed to StayReel. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

StayReel is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
We are not responsible for any action taken by Instagram or Meta against your account as a result of using the App
We disclaim liability for loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, interruption of service, device issues, account restrictions, or other losses arising out of or related to your use of the App
If a court of competent jurisdiction determines that any liability cannot be fully disclaimed, then our liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StayReel and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

By you: You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App’s Settings.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections covering limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable United States federal or state law.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StayReel regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
